Terms & Conditions

Arrival Policy

Please arrive for your appointment 5 minutes before your scheduled starting time. This allows you to relax and for the following appointments to start on time. Unfortunately, late arrivals are inevitable sometimes; however, your appointment will be shortened in order to keep on schedule. No part of full refunds will be given.

Late Arrival Policy

Unfortunately we regret that late arrivals will not receive and extensions on their allocated appointment, but it will be shortened. In special cases and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate and partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original fee will be charged.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This gives us enough time to fill your slot. If you fail to cancel prior to your massage appointment, then a $15 will be given to you and we will charge your card on file.

No Show Policy

Clients who fail to show for massage appointments will be charged the full amount of the treatment. It is important our therapist is compensated for reserved time slots.

Informed Consent

Before the first massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed. You will also receive a copy of the massage therapy policies and will be asked to sign the consent stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures. You will be given a reminder of these policies if we have not seen you for more than six months.

Scope of Practice

Brittney Emling is a qualified and insured professional with the State Of Colorado.

As a massage therapist she does not diagnose or prescribe medical conditions, however is able to give her opinion on what treatment plans you may need and what professionals you may need to visit next.

Respect For Clients Needs & Boundaries

Brittney Emling is happy to adjust pressure, musical volume, work longer on an area or move on if you request it.

The client has the right to refuse any massage methods, stop massage at any time and is free to leave,

Professional Boundaries

Request for sexual activity will not be tolerated, will be viewed as solicitation, and reported to the proper authorities under the guidelines or the onsite massage therapy policies and procedures. The client will not be rescheduled if this occurs.

The breast and genital area will not be massaged under any circumstances. A professional distance will be maintained from these areas. Also, low back, hip & gluteal work will be massaged only on request. Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and massage therapist is NEVER appropriate.

Confidentiality and Conversation

The discussion between the onsite massage therapist and the client is confidential. The client may or may not choose to talk during the onsite massage. Brittney is happy to listen to your conversation and share our professional expertise.

Existing and New Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of the client to keep Brittney Emling Massage therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist etc., that the onsite massage may be continued.

The client must also keep Brittney informed of any changed in health conditions.

Mountain Massage Policies

  • Clients seeking an outdoor mountain massage will need to overview and sign our Release of Liability form prior to massage services.

  • A 25% Deposit will be required to book a Mountain Massage

  • Any changes or cancellations can be done 3 days in advance. After this time we cannot offer you any refunds or make any changes. At the entire discretion of Brittney Emling massage therapist a change could be accepted if it does not interfere with any other bookings.

  • The remaining 75% should be paid on the day of massage prior to session.

Release Of Liability Form
